In January, Algorize began an email collaboration with Vinhuset, a company that was already making an effort and had a campaign plan for their email marketing. However, Regin and Bjarke from Vinhuset were open to professional input and realized the potential of having an external marketing agency with fresh eyes on their approach.

We immediately started developing a new email strategy based on Vinhuset's internal knowledge of their target audience. Each email was conceptualized with a new design, copywriting was optimized, and new automated email flows were developed with a focus on sales, storytelling and personalized service.

The result was that in just 6 months, we increased Vinhuset's email revenue from €3.000 to +€44.000 in monthly email revenue. In addition, we doubled the return customer rate after implementing the new email setup.

The reasons behind the exceptional results for the Wine House are many, but some of the main elements include:

  • New and Optimized Email Design: We revamped their email design so that it was not only visually appealing, but also mobile optimized to ensure an improved user experience.
  • Strategic Sparring with a focus on data feedback: Continuous insight into customer preferences and behavior is essential for both ongoing concept development and growth on both the top and bottom line.
  • Effective Campaign Planning: A well-considered campaign plan is crucial for email success. We set a clear strategy and planned each email campaign accordingly for maximum impact. This includes segmentation of contacts, content of emails, offers and frequency of email blasts
  • Lead Generation - Size Matters: We invested heavily in lead generation campaigns on Facebook and Instagram to grow the winery's email list and increase their email reach. This resulted in +15,000 new leads in less than 6 months with an average lead price of €0,32. These leads have generated more than €28.000 in revenue after sign up, giving a ROAS of 5.8 from the lead gen campaigns.
  • Focused Copywriting and Sales Psychology: We put a strong focus on creating compelling copy that appeals to the target audience. By keeping the messages short and precise with a clear purpose per email, we achieved optimal impact.
  • Increased monitoring and optimization of accounts and campaigns: With increased monitoring, we can quickly identify and respond to trends, changes in customer engagement or other key metrics to unlock the full potential of email marketing. As Vinhuset grew, we were able to tailor and scale up email marketing efforts. Ongoing monitoring and optimization includes helping to improve delivery rates so that emails don't end up in the recipient's spam folder. In addition, we can conduct A/B tests to find out which email elements (e.g. headlines, images or call-to-actions) work best.
